SABINE LENK ABOUT EXPECTATIONS

It is really a great honor for me to be invited to BDW and I accepted the invitation almost immediately! My expectations are going in different directions:
– I hope to share new ideas with visitors, speakers, designers and program partners about design weeks and festivals and get some input to improve Munich Creative Business Week at home in Munich ☺
– But although I want to share our experience from MCBW with visitors of BDW – and hopefully convince people to join our Munich event as well. The BDW is a perfect platform to communicate other international design events, especially the MCBW.
– All in all it is the international networking of our community which is the most important matter for me. It is a kind of cross-culture communication – the today’s basic for the understanding of each other’s needs. And that leads to real design innovation with understanding and consideration for culture and tradition in other nations.
