Back in 2008, our founders decided that more than 50 years of knowledge in designing home appliances could be brought into other industries. Gorenje partnered with Trimo, Riko, and Pristop to derive a studio from the original Gorenje design centre; which soon became the largest design studio in Slovenia.
Since then, interdisciplinary creative processes have been applied across a variety of project types, ranging from sports equipment to interface design. Achieving 8 Red Dot Awards, and etc awards.
Today, we operate in Velenje and Ljubljana, and are building a market presence abroad in Vienna and Prague. We’re proud to have a diverse team of over 20 experienced people with backgrounds in design, engineering, business, and development.
Gorenje Design Studio continues to evolve with our recent involvement in Service Design Thinking & Design Research, implementing the latest tools & methods throughout our live projects.
