Gianluigi Ricuperati. Born in Torino in 1976. Curator of exhibitions and books; author of six novels; essayist on art, design, and other topics for the journals Il Sole 24 Ore and La Repubblica.
He joined Domus Academy as Dean in 2013, and became its Creative Director in February 2014.
Under his guidance, the school has strengthened its position of excellence in the field of design and fashion, forming new relationships and closer collaborations with mentors and industry professionals.
As Creative Director, Ricuperati combines invention and creation, management and representation. It’s an effective strategy that presents the school as a breeding ground for knowledge; a Wunderkammer of culture; a stage of evolution for the lives, careers, and passions of students.
