LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM THE CITY OF BELGRADE
BDW’s creative team received a letter of support from the City of Belgrade expressing full support to the organization of the Belgrade Design Week and Creative Project Serbia 2014-2020. The letter states that the project is of great importance for modern art and creativity as it promotes creativity and knowledge society as a supreme value.
“I am confident that the actions realized by NGO “Design Week”, especially the projects Belgrade Design Week and Creative Project Serbia 2014-2020., will contribute to the development of the knowledge society, promotion of creative industries and improve the image of the Republic of Serbia.
Creative industries as a whole represent a great opportunity for the economic development of our country, and therefore the existence of Belgrade Design Week as a platform for the development of creative industries, has an even greater importance for the Republic of Serbia ”, it’s pointed out in a letter from the City of Belgrade.
Interim president of the City of Belgrade Siniša Mali invited representatives of the institutions of the City of Belgrade, and businesses, to support the Belgrade Design Week and thus contribute to the creation of a knowledge society and improvement of the international image of our country.
