INVITATION: “ARCHITECTURE DURING ART” FOOD FOR THOUGHT, LAUFEN SYMPOSIUM 2015
LAUFEN would like to invite you to an experiential evening that will provoke thoughts about art, architecture, design and innovation at the Laufen Forum, during Art Basel, on Wednesday 17th June 2015.
It will feature an interactive dining experience created by Studio Appétit, a trend-forecasting lecture given by Zuzanna Skalska combined with a unique discussion panel moderated by Jovan Jelovac, co-founder of Brand New World, forecasters of future design.
IDO GARINI – STUDIO APPÉTIT
Studio Appétit is a world-renowned, multidisciplinary experience design studio and a leading player in its field. The studio explores such uncharted territories as eating design to create and enhance multisensory experiences and products.
ZUZANNA SKALSKA – 360INSPIRATION
Zuzanna Skalska is head of trends, 360Inspiration. She holds a position in the advisory board of of Dutch Design Week Eindhoven and has been a lecturer at TU/e Technical University Eindhoven, Department of Industrial Design, and has been a jury member of various international design awards.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY DISCUSSION PANEL
The diversity of the creative industries has become an incentive to develop an experimental, stimulating programme in which different, independent disciplines coexist in order to stimulate an ever-changing, evolving intellectual process.
LAUFEN is delighted to present these latest creative perspectives in a discussion panel with some of the world’s most successful architects, designers, publishers and institutions including Athanassios Argyropoulos, director of the Marina Abramovic Institute (MAI), Kai-Uwe Bergmann (Bjarke Ingels Group), Marcus Fairs (Dezeen), Zuzanna Skalska (360Inspiration), Studio Appetit, Dante Goods and Bads and moderated by Jovan Jelovac, co-founder of Brand New World, forecasters of future design.
The newly commissioned Brand New World installation by Dante – Goods and Bads, premiered at the Salone del Mobile 2015 will also be presented in the Laufen Forum during Art Basel.
“Architecture during Art” dialogues in the Laufen Forum encourage an inspirational exchange between artists, architects and designers.
