This December Miami Ironside explodes into an art and design mecca on the Upper Eastside for an 8-day activation featuring bespoke art exhibitions, a FIAT® 500 showcase by official automotive partner FIAT USA, lounge by iconic designer Ron Arad for Italian artisan-company Moroso, panel discussions, music performances, Mindball Interactive Gaming Experience, STANDSEVEN London pop-up design shop and catered events by celebrated Italian restaurateur Tommaso Morelato of Toscana Divino.

Belgrade Design Week Founder and Curator, Jovan Jelovac, moderates a discussion with LAUFEN’s Director of Marketing and Products, Marc Viardot, and emerging Swiss designer, Tom Strala, on the material approach to design. Strala receives a platform in the new US office and showroom of LAUFEN at Miami Ironside that will showcase his unusual approach to material, light and form, alongside designers Konstantin Grcic and Toan Nguyen’s installations using the groundbreaking new ceramic material SaphirKeramik.
